Hello, it’s nice to have you here!

I am currently updating my portfolio.

Can’t wait? send me an email, and I can provide you with a case study.

A few things you might be wondering about…

How did you get into User Experience (UX) Design?

I spent the first 10 years of my professional life as a business owner and gained design experience through designing brands, websites, and marketing materials. Once I learned about the UX field, I knew I had to make the jump and did an extensive boot camp to gain a deeper understanding of the design process & design research.

What did you do before your UX career?

From 2008 - 2018, I created branding, web design, and marketing materials for my boutique photography business and other small businesses.

What type of UX experience do you have?

I have the most experience working on B2B SAAS products that are very data-heavy with complex workflows. I also have experience working on design systems, multi-platform mobile apps, and performing user research + interviews. I have worked on a team of designers and as a solo designer. I have worked in waterfall and agile environments, but I prefer agile.

Besides UX, what else do you like to do?

Oh, this list could go on for a while… I’ll shorten it to a few of my favorites.

I love to…

  • lift weights in my garage gym.

  • hang out with my 2 dogs, Rey & Hunt.

  • try all of the amazing vegan restaurants that we have in Austin.

  • take photos (I used to be a die-hard medium format film camera person, but the Sony mirrorless cameras are what you will usually find in my hand these days.)

  • read fantasy novels and play (cozy) video games.

How do you pronounce your name?

Whitley Pollet throws a lot of people off. It is pronounced Wit-Lee Paul-Lit.
